That time is being bumped up.Numerous college football games have already be impacted by the coming Hurricane Florence.Coastal Carolina moved its game all the way up to yesterday, from Saturday, while other teams have changed kick-off times, locations, or have canceled games outright.The Bulldogs are the latest major college football team to make a change to this weekend’s game.Georgia football’s home game against Middle Tennessee will now be a noon kick-off.The SEC power made the decision moments ago. Via The Athletic’s Seth Emerson:“Georgia-Middle Tennessee State game moved to 12 noonStatement from University of Georgia Athletic Association:After extensive evaluation involving the uncertainty of weather conditions on the east coast, and consideration of all constituencies involved including fans, support staff, and law enforcement, the Saturday Georgia-Middle Tennessee State game has been moved from 7:15 p.m. to a 12 noon kickoff in Sanford Stadium.The game will be televised on ESPN News and will stream live on the ESPN app.”We hope everyone in the Southeast, especially those in the Carolinas, stay safe, and please evacuate if necessary, as the storm approaches.
